This smart hub acts as the central point in your smart home and is thus needed to control your Smartblinds when you are away from home, for example.

Which Apple smart hub do you need?

So to connect to your Apple Home, you need a smart hub. This smart hub acts as a Matter and Thread border router. That is, the hub creates a Thread network on which your Smartblinds can communicate with each other via Smartblinds, without needing to be connected to the internet to do so. The following hubs are suitable as Matter and Thread border routers:
