How do I set the end position of my Smartblinds?
As well as setting the end positions via the app, you can also set the end positions by pressing the button on the motor. Pull and hold the chain until the blind has reached its end position. If the blind moves in the opposite direction, release the chain and pull again. Move your Smartblind in this way to the desired end position. When the blind is at its end position, press and hold the button until the blind moves up and down to save the end position.
How do I set the start position of my Smartblinds?
Pull and hold the chain until the blind has reached the top position. If the blind moves in the opposite direction, release the chain and pull again. Move your Smartblind in this way to the desired starting position. When your Smartblind is at the desired starting position, keep the button pressed down so that the blind moves up and down to maintain your starting position.
How do I adjust a start or end position?
To adjust a start or end position, move the Smartblind to the position you wish to adjust. Pull the cord and wait until the blind has reached the start or end position. Then press and hold the program button for 3 seconds to clear the set starting or end position. The blind will rise and fall once to confirm that the position has been deleted. You can now set a new start or end position.
How do I change the direction of rotation of my Smartblind?
If the position of your Smartblind in the app is the opposite of the real one, change the direction of rotation by pressing the programming button twice within one second.
How do I pair a remote control?
In some cases, besides the endless smart home control possibilities, it can also be convenient to operate your Smartblinds with a remote control. This is possible with the MotionBlinds remote control.
Select a channel on the remote control and press the programme button on the motor to activate programme mode. Your Smartblind will then start to move up and down. Then press the pair button on the back of the remote control to pair the blind with the selected channel. Once the pairing is established, your Smartblind will stop moving for a moment. Now briefly press the programme button to switch off the programme mode again. Your blind stops moving back and forth and can now be controlled with the remote control.
How do I change the direction of rotation of a remote control?
To change the direction of rotation of the remote control, press the up and down button simultaneously. The direction of rotation is now reversed.
Troubleshooting
Connectivity issues
Having problems with connectivity? Switch off the motor by pressing the programming button and pulling the cord twice at the same time. Repeat this to turn the motor on again. In most cases this will result in better connectivity.
